ChRiStMaS CaRd iN NoVeMbEr

I got my first Christmas greeting card as early as November.It came from Rachell.I belong to CCIM group who usually visit a home for the abandoned children every third Sunday of the month.We conduct a Christmas party for them last Nov.26.
Rachell made a personalized greeting card.Very simple... no artistic masterpiece.But the thing that made it special, was the honesty of the emotions she wrote inside the card. Gee...I never knew How I was able to influenced her outlook in life for that short span of time I visited her.
I understand...actually.Rachell is a very special girl.She has a disability like me.The first time I saw her,she was very shy,timid sensitive,and dont want to communicate with others.Upon seeing me there reaching out and doing things that she thinks that a handicapped person cannot do...perhaps,made her realized that she can have her part too.In short.....nakarelate sya sa akin.
During the party...I saw a different Rachell.She's more enthusiastic now.Actively participating,wearing her best smile.She even shared her talent in singing.I was happy that slowly she's coming out on her shell.
I received a warm hugs and kisses from her.That's the price and that's make me contented and fulfilled in my journey towards life.
Big things comes from the little things you do.Each one of us has its part....God knows everything...learn to follow His will.
