A SONG FOR GOD'S GLORY

" Malou.....can you please sing the Responsorial Psalm at the mass ? ".Fr.Donal OHanlon ask me.Looking at his face sincerely,I realized that he's not joking.How can I say no to the request of someone who believed that I have the talent...that I can do it.
The mass is for the promoters of Misyon Magazine.Our CCIM group was assigned to be the choir.But singing the responsorial psalm was particularly requested for me.Pressured to say yes but eventually I completely gave it all to God's will.I prayed for His guidance that night to give me the right tune.In the morning,im singing already the psalm..God's miracle.
Yesterday was the big day..Were having practice at the rooftop facing Manila Bay.I look up the sky and whisper a prayer..."Dear God,my voice is one of the gifts you gave it to me.So its right to give it back to you.I am singing for your Glory.May I be your living witness of your Love and Glory.Accept this as my prayer offering.amen"
After the mass.Fr.Donal told me that while I am singing, the audience were all eyes at me.They were amazed and inspired.I got a warm feedback from them.I simply thanked them,smiled and said "For God's Glory!"
Intelligence,talents,riches....all comes from God.He gave it to us so that we can use it for a greater purpose.To proclaim God's Love to all His people.
